I have screenshots. Only problem is I have Paint Shop Pro, I don't know how to gamma correct screenshots. Otherwise they look poop. Load it up lazy!

Also, my map Ns_Scout takes a "boxier" approach with few curved rooms on purpose, is this really that unnappealing to everyone? If so then I've got some work to be doin'!
Good lookin' map Thursday, I very much likes it. Just polish it up a bit.

But it's a style! Oh just look at my screenies on the second page and comment, I don't know. It's not like a nub box of course, it's simply square because I'm using the Rock_Wall texture set. It's a style choice and I like it personally. Very different. Hope I'm not alone here.

It's a style allright, a bad style. No offence is intended here, but square rooms, come on man you can try harder than that. And using the rock texture as an excuse isn't going to help you. If Square isn't a nub box Then... what is it? I'm not having a go at you, just stating an opinion.

Ok, I started this long before v3.0g Public was released, back when it was announced in 2.1. I only really finished up on it until now. It wasn't much of a good map, although it allowed me to brush up on particle system and gameplay skills. Its pretty fun to play (as long a you are marine).
It refers to a woman, which is popular for ships and fighter planes etc
The <b>Enola G a y</b>... which bombed Hiroshima. etc.
But elegance...hmmmm not exactly a name.

I have started a second version of elegance, because the first one was just plain crap and boring (public opinoin).

I think the busyness works, because thats what I would expect alot of Space stations to look like. The CC still looks about the size of an ant, stood on 45 times by a rather large leather boot.
That would so pwn.
Seriously though Thursday- it does look good. I like the lighting on it for a marine start. Anything else i'd say it too much light, but ms shouldn't have little shadows for skulks. The only thing I would suggest is trying to find a way to get those ladders out of there. Ladders are usually hell on marines as they very very quickly shorten your field of view. Marines are all about distance between them and the aliens, make the ladder into some stairs if possible, maybe even a little platform connecting where the player is in pic 2 with the hallway that's visible in that picture.
That would so pwn.

The ladder may cause some problem, but to try and even marines out that will be the quickest route from marine spawn to the hive.
