Defenition of <b>pupa</b>:
The nonfeeding stage between the larva and adult in the metamorphosis of holometabolous insects, during which the larva typically undergoes complete transformation within a protective cocoon or hardened case.

Defenition of <b>egg</b>:
The round or oval female reproductive body of various animals, including birds, reptiles, amphibians, fishes, and insects, consisting usually of an embryo surrounded by nutrient material and a protective covering.

    Yes this is correct. Metamorphosis occurs via a cacoon or a pupa. Eggs are purely to give birth to new living entities.

    But come on, it's not really a big deal.

    It's really not, and I believe no one cares.

    It's like calling a Chimp a Monkey, while it's not. But it's pretty cool it a Pupa, next time I see that, I'll be sure to forget it.
