Commander Controls Extremely Dark...

<div class="IPBDescription">Also a scrollwheel issue. :(</div> Everything for the interface for the commander area is almost absolutely black, if I get about 1 inch away from the monitor I can start to see stuff. The cursor is black as well, so it's really hard to see what I'm selecting.
Ok, so I looked around on the forums, did a search and downloaded new drivers for my graphics card and yet I see can't see the controls at all... At first I thought it was a problem with me using two monitors, I disabled one and it's still not working. Then I tried playing around with the gamma and brightness, that didn't help anything so now I'm sitting here wondering what's wrong. I'm wondering if it just didn't install correctly (installed twice now) or something, any help would be greatly appreciated.
CPU: Intel Pentium 4 2.6c
Sound Card: Built into my ABIT board.
Video: MSI N'Vidia GeForce FX 5900 Ultra
RAM: Corsair 512MB
Video Settings: OpenGL, 1280x1024
Not sure if I'm running EAX, whatever is default is most likely what I'm using.

Lastly, mousewheel up instantly selects guns, and mouse wheel down pops up that menu thing for selecting guns, I haven't a clue why, they're both bound to show the menu...

And that mousewheel thing is a small problem. Mousewheel up is nextinv and the other is some impulse command. Turning on hud_fastswitch should help here.

Also, the scrollwheel problem was fixed from this as well, so we're all well. I guess. Thanks for the help.
Recommendation: Sushihug, try redownloading the installer.
