this first one is for you drake 1200 polies

    Holy crap. Why is that welder RIP? It's like one of the most awsome things i've seen.

    Also though, that last pistol concept, i think you went a leeeeeetle overboard with the detail on the handle.     the welder is RIP cuz i lost the god damn source still angry about it i might redo it once i got enough time
    the pistol is for a half life 2 mod but i think some one can get it in
    ok xm8 wont be released unless some one can cut 5600 polies into around 2000
    update on the pistol all the tanish parts are supposed to be wood thats what owens concept called for
    2000 polies

    To be blunt:

    1) Extruding a spline is not all there is to creating a weapon. Your concepts are good, but your models are universally blocky. Take the time, vary width and round corners where appropriate.

    2) Don't model details that could be easily shown in a skin (e.g. the "N" in the handle of the pistol and much of the detail on the XM8). The resulting model will be cleaner and easier to skin, and ultimately will offer better performance for anyone who downloads it.

    well these pistols probably wont be released for 2 reason
    1) high poly i dont want people bitching about that its too high poly or they could do the same for less
    2) its intended for a half life 2 mod we are working on
