I can't play NS now that they have gone to Steam
BECAUSE STEAM freaking DOESN'T WORK
SAYS MY CD KEY IS INVALID, WTH I HAVE THE ORIGINAL HL CD AND BOX...
OMG what waste of time waiting.
Steam doesn;t even reply my help emails.
Why did they replace Valve when it was so much better.

Steam and the old system were both run by Valve. Your post makes no sense. The old system was called WON-Net by Valve.

Um. If your cd key is invalid, I hardly think that's steam's fault.

Go to the steam boards, post there. If you really need to, they will give you the name of the guy to PM.

Don't be a jerk about it either. It makes people not want to help you.

There is a possibility someone is using your CD key.

Wrong. I believe WON was owned and run by Sierra, and VALVe, seeking independance, are trying to cut off their dependancies from other companies.

If you cdkey is invalid in Steam, but works in WON, you are mis-typing it.
