Yes, the topic was 100% truthful. There was, at one point, multiple Nano's (the guys have been advertising the return of Gridlock recently) all in different worldwide locations. The UK based unit was Nano Redux. However, after Gridlock died, Redux stayed active, but lost it's playerbase entirely. It now sits idle 99% of the time.
What I'm looking for is an established, decent level clan or group who would like to see it used regularily again. To that end, if your group is....
o Established
o Regular Players
o Interested in creating a decent, enjoyable to play at server
o Interested in not having to pay for one (And that's the nice bit)
...Why don't you reply? Feel free to check it out first, take a look, poke around, ask some questions. After all, I will because I want a group who are going to be active, reliable and willing to put in the effort it takes to make a great server. Apologies to all my lovely admins if you don't think this is the right place (waves to Talesin & NemZer) but I wanted the maximum number of views and I can't put this in the Vet forum (where more clans would see it) as I'm not a Vet.

I'm in a clan called UKV wich is I think nearly a year old (10 months or something). We all play NS every night untill early in the morning as true NS addicts.
Some people remember me as [LoG]cookymonster and in the old days I was one of the crew (Ned, Inertia, Angrymonkey, me) who made a server called #warservers NS 1 the no.1 server in europe. I'm sure there's alot of people that still remember that.
I believe, that with the current clan I'm in, we can do that again.
I'll certainly would put my effort into seeing that goal to be achieved once more. Aside from that, we nearly play PCW's every day, sometimes even twice a day. So a server would help us out tremendously.
It would be great to arrange PCW's without having to worry about getting a decent server (wich often seems to be a problem).

Server 1 and 2 are both on Won at the moment, although once 3.0 comes out both will be switched to Steam.
Server 1 will be Classic
Server 2 will be Combat (kicks for reserved players)
Aye i miss warservers... was good fun back in 1.03-1.04 i got to know alot of the players quite well..
Just to add #|UKV| are a great bunch of guys, and im sure would get your redux server up and running and back to populer in no time at all...
