Help Laser Models

whenever i use a laser model it looks like a red stick coming out the gun why is this. i cant search because
its not working and id really like some help. i dont want to modify i just want them to look like lasers.

    In 95% of the laser models i've seen, theres a part where it says "YOU NEED THE DOD TRANSPAENCY DLLS" .... or similar

    It is possible he didnt see that in a post or readme or even checked that, please dont asume everyone knows these things, doing that will only make flame wars start.

    Guns don't fire models - they fire tracers. Thusly, change the tracers so they look like lasers.

    That wasn't even the point of the topic. He wanted to make the LAMs work properly, not change the weapons into laser rifles.

    well smart people read the whole post, the search wasnt working. it didnt say about transprency models in the readme and it used to work like a few months ago or something. the sticky doesnt actually imply anything about this subject and i dont have to time to read all the stickys.
