<div class="IPBDescription">:D</div> Looking for some WW2 flight simulators which are either coming out soon, or have a large multiplayer scene, e.g. over 50, unlike IL-2 Sturmovik which has 16 or less people playing at any given time, according to gamespy.

    Ever try Battlefield 1942? Pretty good, getting to the plane's the hard part... everyone usually steals them first. The MP scene's pretty big I'd say.

    Bleah, I never did like battlefield 1982, I dont know why. Wolfenstein now there's a game that had a plane it'd make it much more fun for every one involved.

    Try Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory.
    Its some kind of capture the flag/fullfil your mission objections game, but multiplayer. And its for free, too.

    I have IL2 and it is a good sim. I've never managed to get around to playing it online, soI can't 100% guarantee the following, but I'm fairly certain it is accurate. Most of the active community won't show up on GameSpy. I intended to play online after some practice, so I looked into it. Most IL2 players meet through <a href='http://hyperfighter.jinak.cz/' target='_blank'><u>HyperLobby</u></a>. If you head over there and look under "Forgotten Battles" (the latest version of IL2), you should see quite a few people playing. I just did a quick look, and Forgotten Battles seems to have over 400 people flying right now.

    I may need to dust off my copy...

    Wolfenstein ET is a very good game. And the missions are very fun and extensive. You won't get bored easily there especially with good players.
