    are they fixxing the thing where if a commander gets ejected he ccan recomm in like 10 seconds? thats really annoying.. if u get ejected u should not be allowed to recomm for the res of map.. also a player should get 1 vote per comm.. not per level.... annoying if 1 newbie comm takes over from a previous one

    I think the idea behind voting out a bad comm is to have someone standing at chair to take it. It's kind of pointless if no one is ready to comm, you'd be better off with the bad comm.

    what if the person who is a good comm asks us to eject so he can comm... and is in the field or respawning
    by the time his at the comm the bad one is back... and what about the vote per comm instead of per level

    p.s. earthbound was a fun game

    Uh the ban time for commander eject is set by server. they only get back in right away if they jump out in the middle of the vote. and the voting has been fixed.

    3.0 is a much much bigger patch than the <b>server only</b> patches like 2.01 or 1.04. And, in case you weren't here at the time, there were INCREDIBLE amounts of complaining in the "2.01 beta" thread, that is, before the final 2.01 was done. It wasn't even funny.

    Algin, Well i know its bigger but still why not public. Sure forum morons will be a problem but they can also be banned <!--emo&;)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/wink.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wink.gif'><!--endemo-->. I dont care that much about all the forum morons if you dont like them or disslike them then dont lissen/read.
    Also many of the betatesters seems like real morons but i dont flame them... i let them say whatever they want here on these forums. A publicbeta is the way 2 go, they should (Dev-Team) also have one guy checking forum talking to the public this would increase the popularity of the NS community "ALOT".
    Forums is something that got alot bigger in the gaming world and is something all mod/game makers should use at max.

    Why patch version 2 when version 3 is around the corner ?
    Anyway who's with me on beating the dev-team up a lil for jumping from 1.0 to 2.0 and from 2.0 to 3.0
    I mean SURE they were kinda big patches
    But you just DON'T switch the first number
    It looks ugly and barbaric...

    Actually, classic is the real problem as there still are issues with the lag. Combat, although mostly playable may need more balancing so it doesn't turn into 1.04 ( Jps vs 2 hives).

    OMG I agree totally. The whole 2.0 and 3.0 business, it just doesn't look right. But, it is merely a title, and I can live with it, providing the game works and plays well.

    Wow, I'd just like to say thx for the lerk flight alteration! Lerks are really fun, love shooting some spores and watching em run! Also THX for focus!!! should seriously ROCK! finally something to increase the effectiveness of alien attacks! exactually how does focus affect the damage of the attacks? cause in 2.01 it took 3 bites to kill a rine with lvl1 armor as a skulk; if you have focus does it still take 3 bites?     dude its been 10 days since the last patch, this takes time and alot of fixing. Flay codes it with joev and then joev compiles the builds.

    News tidbit : Flayra replied to a balance thread in the constie forums, saying he agrees with a lot of the suggestions and put it in the next build. He said the next build is coming out on Friday.
