Forums servers?

<div class="IPBDescription">Wanna give it a go</div>I think someone should set up some forum servers for like the day of the release. Passworded, and the password can be given to forum members.
The only reason I thought of this is because I wanna make the first day of NS the best it can be. Instead of going into a pub with some idiots 1337 cs d00ds cause that will just ruin my day if the first game of NS is completely retarded.
EDIT: Could any of NSF servers do this? For like a day or so but just enough to make sure the first games of NS are what NS really should be.

There will be an IRC release party, its pretty much like your idea....
There was an old disscusion about makin forum ppl games every friday night, but dunno what are we gonna do.....
Unfortunately, there was some..... unpleasentness... I can never go back.
I think we all want our first impression of NS to be the best possible, and I don't think it's a bad idea at all. *shrug*
[Edit: I just don't think it should be passworded, because if forum members played in it and newbies came in they could share what knowledge they have(or just say "RTFM!"))
Perhaps after a while yes - have communtiy servers - but this type of server is only really needed if the majority of publics are full of gimps , something I dont see happening to NS.
Why not simply designate a few servers for you and your online friends to play on and that way there will be a majority of ( you would hope ) decent people playing and will perhaps inspire the random gamer to take up NS and spread the word of an HL mod with actual decent pubs :x
My big concern is getting the game after it's released. I'd rather see one of the mirrors announced to the forum go-ers a day or so before it gets added to big list o' mirrors. Just so us dial up users don't have to deal with so many server busy messages and .1k speeds.
Phoenix was only suggesting a one day passworded server, and only so that he can play a llama free game his first pass. The assumption hes making is not that we are going to play better then other people who aren't on the forums, only that anyone who has signed up on the forum is interested in NS for what it is and not as some novelty mod. Therefore, its more likely that we want to use teamwork and such, and we are the type of people he wants to at least play his first game with. Besides if someone really wanted to play at the passworded server, all they'd have to do is come to the Forums and check it out. I find no assumption that hes any better or deserves anything. Hes only requesting the privalidge to play an insured enjoyable game his first time through.
