That being said...
I completely love FFXI (so much I had to make an NS forum thread about it <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo--> ). Does anyone here play on the Fairy server? I got auto-picked there and it just so happened a couple of my clanmates played there. And does anybody know where the quest where you can get free scale mail is in San d'Oria? Thats the main reason I went the 5,000 miles there from Bastok.

    To tell you the truth i haven't tried FFXI yet, but i plan too. regardless if anyone says it sux or not. Its a fan thing I Guess.

    If you don't mind me asking, what class are you? Once i get it running for Dragoon, Fighter Elven guy.

    Right now I'm a warrior, thinking of going on the samurai or ninja quests so I can be one of those. Oh, and to be a Dragoon you'll have to go on a quest for that.
    You start with these classes to choose from:
    Warrior
    Redmage
    Blackmage
    Whitemage
    Thief
    Monk

    Red Mages are white mages that can use swords, armor, and <u>most</u> of the other Warrior equipment. The only difference is Red Mages are significantly weaker at casting spells and have slightly lower attack power/hitpoints.

    Unless the game is overpopulated by Red mages, I wouldn't want to be one if 9 out of 10 players are Red Mages as well, I want to be a class which is actually useful.

    Red Mages are actually pretty rare, I'v rarely seen them. Mainly warrior and such

    I actually used to play FFXI but got bored with it donno what it was but it seemed to be missing something..
