<div class="IPBDescription">Cooooolll....</div>I was just watching the Final Fantasy movie on my computer and thought all the combat was really cool (i have seen it before). I kept thinking it would be cool if a game looked like that. Then it hit me: "Wait a minute! NS looks like that! AWESOME!!!" Even the marines look similar to the Deep Eyes Squad (who look kick ###). If anyone wants a movie to watch to get in the mood for NS, go watch Final Fantasy.

    well .. it certainly is a theory ..

    as good as the dev's are at animations, I doubt they could achieve that level of quality without the motion capture equipment Square has ...

    Yeah, that movie´s pretty good looking. I just hope the people who didn´t like it will have a totally wrong impression about the (über excellent) FF <b>game</b> series.

    Yeah, at best it was loosely based off a close theme to the series.  I think giving it that name killed it at the box office, given that most(all) video game movies blow.  

    It was freaking sweet animation though.

    Me, being a big FF fan. I have to say the movie was quite a let down. However, I guess the amazing graphics made up for it. The story just wasn't right, it sounded like futuristic ghost busters movie...

    Actually, I based the vest worn by the soldiers in some of my drawings off the FF Movie soldiers' vests.

    It wasn't a bad film but wasn't great either. It's a shame that it wasn't more like the games which have great stories.
    NS will be great hopefully! I have high hopes but i do believe it will match them.

    I think it's fault is that an hour and a half just ain't enough time for Square to develop a story line.

    i thought it was a great movie.... but i dont play the games (simply never have i.e. i like them). i like movies generally and as a movie goes, i thought it was very entertaining and story was good for me. i understand what yall are saying though.
