Max, the lovely and talanted NS programmer, is turning twenty-somethitong today! I say "somthing" because I don't want to give his true age away, but let me also say that Max is now a quarter of a century old.
Here are some wonderful things about Max:
- He has reworked the Lerk so it's super-manueverable, kind of like a little F15
- He has reworked HL's crappy collision-detection and completely fixed hitboxes in NS (which I thought was impossible)
- He's the bestest programmer, evar. Watch out, Mr. Carmack (seriously)
- He's funny, and really not all that anti-social, especially for his competence level
- He's the inventor and patent-holder of the Maxeh-Map (what you see when you press "C" or "M" to get a full-screen view of the level)
He turns the big 2-, er, <i>quarter-century</i> today, which really isn't as close to death as it sounds. Tell him how much you love him (<a href='mailto:max_mcguire@yahoo.com'>max_mcguire@yahoo.com</a>) and who knows, maybe you'll get 3.0 faster...<ul>
