That looks like.. umm, about 15 seconds of work. What did you do, take the regular NS Marine model, load it into milkshape, quad divide it, and then use the smooth vertices plugin?
a High polygon model is worthless unless you actually use those polygons for Detail, and not just put them there "Because you can".

i think its a waste of polies, where are the fingres ? <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->
I subdivided a skulk up to around a million polies last year. Then my computer died. <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->

Yes, its _High_ poly but the usage of those polys aren't exactly optimized <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo-->

.... this was just for fun ppl..... dont take it like its an actually thing.. and its really hard doing it. Cuz it ms3d crashes everytime you try it i had to smooth it one piece at a time but yeah.. . So its just for fun. Smooth and all.
Go go meshsmooth tool! <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->
It can compile in HL.. just needs a lot of work <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->

im not planning to compile it our anything. Just wanted to see what a 29k marine model would look like.
This was just for fun..
Theres the smooth edges tool that does this.
Its a nice effect, but a terrible waste of polies.

you are so 100% right,
