    Besides, I've almost completely stopped playing NS, but I don't intend to leave the community anytime soon. You could do that instead.

    I'm seeing more and more of these posts these days. I've also stopped playing til 3.0 (or maybe til vets night on NTFM <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo--> ) but even if I stopped for good I know i'd still hang around the good old off-topic forums.

    it's actually feedback the dev team may be able to use, and others have made excellent points about how they do care.

    it works like this:

    if you care, you reply with a "goodbye" or "I'll miss you".

    if you DON'T care, truly, then you DON'T respond at all. and ignore the thread.

    and lastly, if you want to be childish about it you post things like "NO ONE CARES", even though there are plenty of people showing how they DO care. =P
