<div class="IPBDescription">Who are going to install SvenCoop 3.0</div> There seems to be some sort of compatibility issue when you install SvenCoop in WON or Steam.
What it does is it sort of breaks your client.dll, making you have to reinstall the game. I've had this error on Steam, and another user has this error on WON, and these are both AFTER installing SvenCoop 3.0
Just giving a heads up for you <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->
EDIT : Checking it over, now it seems it isn't the client.dll, but it's the fmod.dll
To fix it, you install your older fmod.dll over you new one but....
If you do, you won't be able to play SC3.0 without the new fmod.dll
EDIT : Link to fmod.dll switcher, which allows users to switch between the new and old fmod.dlls. Courtesy of LB (Thanks!)

Rename your fmod.dll that you use to play NS2.0 to something you can remember(eg. fmodNS.dll) and then use the new fmod.dll to play SC. When you're done, name the new fmod.dll to something like fmodSC.dll and then rename your fmodNS.dll to fmod.dll. Hope it isn't too confusing.
They only got the latest version on their site
you can use this fmod.dl:l <a href='http://www.simhansi.de/hosted/mimi/downloads/Fmod_dlls.zip' target='_blank'>http://www.simhansi.de/hosted/mimi/downloa...s/Fmod_dlls.zip</a>
if that fix can be up asap it would be a great help.

Yep
First post updated to include LB's useful fmod switcher to help combat against this. I haven't tested it yet so use at your own risk.

PS: anyone notice that nearly all Sven Coop players seem to have NS installed <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->
or unzip it if it's zip/rar file <!--emo&;)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/wink.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wink.gif'><!--endemo-->
just make a copy of sven-coop 3.0 fmod.dll archive in some other folder and do the same thing for the ns fmod.dll and when you wanna play sc3.0 just paste it on hl folder and replace the ns fmod.dll and for ns do the same thing just remember to have a copy of both fmod.dll
hope that works 4 every1
