I just got a 9700 today and I must say I am in love... once NS comes out I'll be playing it 6X FSAA with 16X antisotrpic filtering with an FPS that doesn't remind me of something that belongs in the toilet...speaking of which ::goes and flushes his 8500::

    luck has nothing to do with me working at a #### job to buy a video card (I develope photos at CVS for 7.25 an hour...most area CVSes pay cashiers at least that but we have a cheap manager)

    I think my sig is larger than that.... Anyways how much did that cost? Where do yall shop? I have a local store that I goto, it beats a shitload outa big stores like compusa or best buy. It looks like a counter with a cash register, and a small warehouse in the back, but GREAT prices, and 10 minutes from my house:

    1.1 ghz t bird processor
    radeon 7500
    128 pc133 ram(a lil low but about to add a 256 chip)
    40 gig HD
    Everything else prolly sucks but hey, cheap as dirt 8-)
    And Im upgraded sound very soon, then prolly a new moniter.
