<div class="IPBDescription">help is at hand :)</div> Our clan will be running a n00b only server this Friday at 7ish onwards. If you want to learn the ropes or brush up on yer dubious skillz in a noob friendly environment then nows ye chance <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->
Any kind hearted NS regulars that want to join and help are also welcome.

The server will be locked and passworded to avoid the inevetable l337 invasion (they can smell a drop of noob blood in 20 miles of water <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo--> ).

    I've been playing the game for a while, and so have a decent amount of experience as a skulk/marine, but I have very little in the form of commander/onos, (Only 1 game of each in fact). Would it be possible to get in a couple of games as a comm? Or would I fall under the catagory of one of those l337 noobs? :o

    Also, is it in Steam or WON?

    I think there could be at least one good player to teach the n00bs how to play(its hard to learn from our selfs).

    Hopefully we will have a few NS regulars in to help.
    The general idea is to provide a freindly playground for learning the game basics.
    Ive no idea how things will turn out as I am new to admin and our clan is mainly a DoD outfit.
    Basically a few of us have fallen in love with NS but have found the general attitude of NS public servers to be very intolerant of learners so we will see how this goes with a view to making it a regular event.
    Last time I tried, the server was invaded by l337s who took the oportunity to ruin the game (in one case someone deliberately crashed the server).
    Hope it goes well this time.

    I'm a terrible nub (have read the manual though <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo--> ) and would love such a session - not this friday though <!--emo&:(--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/sad.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='sad.gif'><!--endemo--> so I hope it will be successful enough to become regular.

    Hooray! I am not really a newbie, but I don't know EVERYTHING and I need to learn more of the maps. I would be glad to help out the REAL newbies as alien and marine, but I ALSO need commanding help. I always end up dying because I don't know maps.......
