I think that both the aliens and the marines should only get 1 rfk... people would put up more rts as aliens instead of just killing marines and the oni would come later in the game. in fact, the entire alien evolution would be slowed down and the marines would have more time before the first onos comes and destroys the marine base or kills all the rts.
If aliens had the 'give res' command, I don't think the res system would need to be changed, there could be permagorges again, the aliens would have greater teamwork, and aliens would have a chance in big games.
Ok, maybe it might imbalance the game, but really want the pt'ers to try this out. I mean, if it doesn't work, scrap it.

This is about how the aliens are weaker in larger games not how marines are weaker.
each alien gets 25 res @ start? aliens get the same cash to blow as marines W/ only 4 players(marines start with100)..
you would think aliens start to gain advantages with numbers..
i see on most pubs the aliens win, unless you got a clan for marines and noobs for aliens..
on games the aliens R winning they spread across the map like a rash using there 25 res to drop a nozzle then go skulk agian. this seems simple and sure fire to me, i think in the end it just boils down to which team get directed better.. if u had a wicked comm hed prolly know how to herd the PUB rines.. wicked alien players yell till the noobies do it rite.. so it mostly matters what side wises up and how soon that happens
oh and.. whats balance? 1 team always looses and 1 team always wins..unless half the marines take on half the skulks as pet skulks and or gorges and the other half of the aliens take the remaining half of the mariens that dont have pets, as the aliens pets.. this way everyone has pets... btw did you ever stop to consider the majority of vetrans favor Laiens instead of Rines? maybe cuase its "cooler" nah prolly cuase the noobs cant take the learn curve of the aliens and just fight under the commander for there first dozen or so introductory rounds/games/matchs whatever.. and they dont want to be stuck with noobs knowing theyll loose, or have to go out of there way to make the team win.. and or they just want to prey on da Nubzors..

and any way u put it.. the nubs flood the rines, see them loose.. dont get to see NS for the game its Worth(this game is awsome, well so is Machines,Empires1942,Battlezone,Savage.. u get the idea..) BTW does 2.0 have a real manual? what was available for 1.04 was down rite sadness, altho is looked nice.. could we have something offical containing.. upgrade stats weap damage for all who just dont have a clue..

Bless his soul.. he was trying to make it so that if you got RFK while at 100 res, it would overflow as well (Great for those longgame onoses!), but a tiny (AGAIN! Miniscule. Small!) error did the above.
