Ok. A bit of an update. It is 1299 polies at the moment. I finally figured out all this UVW mapping sh!t. So I have mapped the buttstock, screen, triggergaurd, switch and the magazine. I have a couple questions for those who might know:
Should the magazine be seperate object for animation purposes? and At the moment the handle thing is really long, which makes the maps really stretched whne staying under 512x512. Should I break it down into smaller peices or do you think the detail would not be much of an issue here?

On the new version of the model you also fixed the problem where the fire-mode switch got in the way of the view-screen. I don't think anyone but me noticed that.
