colour change?
is there any way to change the colour of the crosshairs, without mod'ing anything that shouldnt be mod'ed??
now, i like the game, but those damn crosshairs make it hard for me to see what im aiming at. when u got a load of blue circles and waypoints up on screen, it makes it near impossible for me.
now im not asking for anything exessive like new x-hairs, just wondering if theres a command to change the colour, perhaps a bit darker.

Just open up the files in Photoshop or whatever graphics program you have, and just change the hue. Problemo solved

I know you can use a program called spriteview ...search for SprView...then you can export .spr 's to .bmp's for easy fun editing.

Changing models/sprites is not hacking. I am just too lazy to change my x-hairs or I would have a long time ago, because they are highly intrusive. I supose you could also just draw x-hairs on your monitor screen and use crosshair 0....
But anyway....you CANNOT do a simple recolor. Nope, not even Hue/Saturation (sorry Shockwave)
Anyway first you'll need SprView (which someone mentioned earlier)
Open the crosshair and save the BMP only, forget about the sequences.
Next you open it in Photoshop or any other programs that supports changing the color table. Change the last color on the table and save.
Get a Sprite compiler (or write one yourself via batch files) and compile away. Just make sure you have the sprite render mode set right.
