He's not talking about hitting the slot buttons to select his weapon. He's talking about a script like this.
alias mwu "invnext; +attack; wait; -attack" bind mwheelup "mwu"
When he rolls the mousewheel forward it cycles through the weapons. You know, like every first person shooter ever created since the advent of mouselook except Half-Life. In the case of the above script, the hud_fastswitch command does nothing since you're using invnext and inprev.
The wait command is essential because it lag proofs your scripts.
I have a toggle script that toggles between primary and secondary weapon that I'd be interested to see if it worked. Yeah, I could use lastinv, but scripting it removes the "oh whoops I can't switch between lmg and pistol anymore because I took out my knife." or having to reset it everytime I die, or build something for that matter.
_special allows you to create infinite loops in scripts. Something that HL was not supposed to be capable of.

About this armoury humping increased b/c of it dispensing health,
Many servers currently have that health giving armoury plug in tat gives out a continuous stream of HP. I dont really see any increased humping in these severs so Im not gonna be to worried about it.

Well then Instead of keeping something which could be used to exploit (the wait command), perhaps Flayra should simply implement a few new binds that do the things that you want? Since its not hard to add new binds (Is it?)
An 'instant next inventory' bind that goes to next inv instantly without having to click instant last inventory instant last weapon
CS has instant next and prev anyway...
Any other commonly used thing that people are saying it 'takes away from them' if they lose 'wait'.
Then everyone can play vanilla and theres no more reason to keep it.

The reason why you don't want a continous stream is because of sporing. The health mod negates spore pretty well. This method won't save you. It's more of a "oo I stubbed my toe I need medpack..."
So how effective is bunnyhopping then? I haven't seen it but it have an idea on how it would work even though i havent succeded. How big is the increased speed with bunnyhopping?

It would be cooler if instead of the armory giving health to add a new structure like a med station. But It would be even cooler to play 3.0 before christmas so please ignore my idea for now <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->

The armor humping is the same, hardly a problem.
It makes it easier on the commander and marines. I hear, I need a MedPack less on those servers.
Good Choice to actually put it in.
