Controle Problems...

<div class="IPBDescription">Mouse and keyboard</div> For not so long ago, my controles have started to freakout...
When i move around, my mouse sometime "freezes" and ill move in that direction...
Or sometimes my move buttons will get stuck and make me move in that direction
or there will be a delay before i move....

In the start of my NS career, i had no problems at all with them...
And the problem isent in other programs or games... So there must be something
thats bugging my keyboard and mouse....

Dont know if anybody can answer.... but i sure hope so....

    Neros I have got the same problem!
    In 2.0x my mouse freezes sometimes and my keyboard... unplayable.
    In 3.0 with steam this problem disappeared!?

    I hope somebody can help us!

    Used to happen to me.. I got a new keyboard (spilled stuff on it) and a new mouse (died of old age) and it worked fine

    If you use wireless keyboards/mice, it might be your software or gear that is broken.

    IF you use "multimedia keyboards" it might as well be the software playing "games" with you. Try disabling it if that is the case.

    But i haven`t got a "multimedia keybord" and this problem is only in Natural Selection ... not in CS or other HL mods!
    I changed my drivers and my Operating system:
    From Home Edition to Pro
    changed my bios
    changed my Graphic card driver a few times
    change my mouse driver

    And this problem isnt at the beginning of a game it appears after 1 or 2 games (30 - 40 mins)
    Maybe i have to change my graphic card settings or something else .... ?

    I got the same problem. My mouse and/or my controls freeze. When i really push a lot of controls(jump,strafe and attack) my computers begins to make beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep sounds

    You have to start Natural Selection! Then when the controle problems are starting you have to switch to the Task Manager /PROCESS MANAGER and set hl.exe one lower than "Normal".
    Now it works fine for me!

    I was thinking about that too, but don't you have gameplay or fps problems when you do that?     Their has to be an explenation for this problem because a lot of people seem to have it.     If you set the priority of the WON hl.exe one lower than normal and switch back into hl you got vsync fps (60 fps at my system) but your Natural Selection is running normal.
    If you set the priority one lower at the STEAM hl.exe ... fps are normal (100 fps at my system)!

    You are right! Sometimes this problem appears after 30 mins sometimes it appears after 3 sec and sometimes it starts after 3 ours .... ! But I know that this problem is fixed in STEAM, there is only one map where this problem started at my System (co_faceoff) ... maybe it depends on the maps!?
    But i cant believe this.
