Watching HLTV back then was like watching old X3 demos.

You musta been out of the game for a LOOOOONG time
eR has improved dramtically, I note this has been especially true since they have gotten their latest recruit, General Patton, who I do believe is their new commander.
However, HAM is freaking scary to play against, and they have actually been practicing.
Both clans have exceptionally skilled players, I note HAMBONE for being perhaps the best NS commander, and SHAMPOO is the most skilled player of HAM, while Napalm takes my vote for eR.
Since I like to make predictions, I'm gonna make one:
1-1 unless one side screws up hardcore, and I tend to think that HAM is gonna 2-0 if anyone (also, HAM is east coast... GOGOGOGOOGOGOGOGOGGOG EAST COAST DIVISION... ahem), but this is such a close matchup it could be anyone's game.
I reccommend all to watch this, this match will surely represent the pinnicle of NS 2.0. in organized fashion. Top notch strategies and tatics, and we should see superior teamwork to anything else so far.
I don't know what map this is gonna be held on, but for strategies we will probably see this:
HAM is gonna do their new phase gate secure the middle of the map strategy, which they like more than a traditional jetpack domination, and eR... I haven't watched them too much, but I think they will pull out all of the stops and block a lot of vents, nodes, fades, and onos with their amazing CC placement.
It's gonna be really fun to watch, I know I wouldn't want to miss this one.
One request though:
Can we please get some HLTV servers that are fast, relible, or at the very least, functional and decent? Thanks, the semi-finals and quarter-finals already fell victim to crappy HLTV servers, I'd be pretty angry if we missed the actual final due to it.
Also, all players that play in the final, record demos, please, don't depend on HLTV not to mention I'd probably Download a few. Especially a commander demo from both sides.
GL and HF all.
will be a fun match to watch, if there will be a decent hltv server :>

The default delay for CAL-ns HLTV is 1:30, and the delay from shoutcast is anywhere from 10-30 seconds. Meaning that the average listener will hear what is going on almost a minute in advance. In order to balance this out, we have suggested a second HLTV for the use of GBL. This second HLTV will have a delay of one minute, so that along with the delay of the shoutcast, our GBL cast and what you all see on the HLTV should match up nicely.
Anyone with an HLTV server they would not mind donating to GBL for this match(or on any occassion) please pm me either on the forums, or in IRC in #GBL or #teamir.
