Zelda + Metriod + Mario World = PWN
When I got back from lunch today at work I had a lovely suprise waiting: My SNES!
I got the system, 2 controllers, Super Mario World, Super Mario All Stars (which strangely enough has mario world on it as well), Super Metroid, Zelda: A Link To The Past, Killer Instinct, Donkey Kong Country, Sim City, and Aladdin. Not that I really care about the last two, but hey they came with it.
At first I was about to panic, as I hooked it up and could not get any signal to the TV. :O I all but paniced but after talking to the NES representative on the phone (Nintendo still supports the SNES and NES on their tech support line!) and my roomate I discovered the problem was just really, really dirty games. So after some cleaning of the games they all work like a charm! Games w/ battery backup all have working batteries, so savegames are teh pwn. :D
My roomate and I played all the way through Super Mario World (he is really really good too, and I suck as I haven't played it since 1992), then I played some Super Metroid & Zelda. :D I've had tons of fun and already I know the money I spent on the system (as well as time spent hunting down a good deal). DEFINATELY better than emulation, hands down. So great to see Samus on the tv screen again. :D

Chrono Trigger(RPG)
Super Mario RPG(uh duh, rpg there)
Any of the kirby games (Advemture) Suggest kirby super stars, its 8 classic kirby games&minigames combined.
The metroid and zelda stuff is good too, but you already got that down.
Secret of Evermore and Secret of Mana, (Evermore is a RPG/Adventure game, Mana is more of a tactical RPG)
As you can see I'm a big RPG & adventure game fan , that was the day man, back when they actually concentrated on a good plotline and such instead of graphics. yeesh.

Because console games are always best on the consoles them selfs.
Dude Nintendo seriously owns for doing that.
I'm well along into Metroid, but I'm hella jealous that you have Zelda.
Oh, and my SMB Allstars came with Super Mario Land too.
My favorites:
Super Mario Bros 1,3,whatever the SNES version is
Megaman 2-6
Kirby's
Contra (original for NES)
I'm not a big fan of RPG's, I get bored in the breaks in action and don't really like to have to follow a story line for a game, I'd rather have a ton of fun in the game then want to follow the story.
The only part I hated was the little things that drop you on Guts Man's level (okay..maybe the enemy naming sucked, but not the game). I just need an SNES with Super Mario All Stars (with Mario World), Zelda: A Link to the Past, Jurassic Park (can't save in that like you can with an emulator though - NO saving...at all, not even Hi Scores), Super Metroid and Kirby's Golf.
I still have my X'Eye (SegaCD/Genesis) and my 1st version Sega Gensis. In fact, I recently founda SegaCD emulator, so I can play Dungeon Master 2 again....long after my CD was ruined. It's my second favorite SCD game after SonicCD. To bad the pin in the RFU adapter fell out for the X'Eye. Original (11 year old) genesis works perfect though...better than my playstation, nintendo, xbox (stupid Thompson drive) or PS2.
Good ol' Sega.
