Just finished that thing and wanted to know what you guys think of it.

Please criticize the drawing aswell as the alien itself.

    hmmm....... well.......... its different il give u that. but the legs seem a bit wierd to me but maybe thats just me.

    I didn't plan to do a frontal drawing. I just wanted to test out some methods to do shading with a pen... But why not. I'll see if I can do one tomorrow between one of the wolf drawings I do for Beast <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->
    Okay, the truth is.. I am lazy like hell and this alien concept was the first drawing in days. Hehe ^^

    It looks good. Has a nice classical sci-fi feel to it. The shading is really sharp and it really reminds me of Moebius's style of art. I think his real name is Jean Girard. He's done comics and movie work. There are only a couple little things that I think need fixing if you are going to continue work on it. The Necklace type belt that goes around the neck kind of flattens that section of the body. It should be contorting to the shape of the spike on its back and its body. And the legs should be stronger looking. The first thing that popped into my mind was that they look kinda like jelly. They should be able to support the weight of this creature. I did notice the misplacement of the finger but it isn't really noticeable and doesn't distract from the overal image as much as the 2 things I mentioned above.
