How can I use Lost sky map
I can't figure out how to get the sky texture in Lost in my map. I tried typeing in Lost in my map's properties, but it didn't work. I can use Space, and that'll work if nothing else does, but I'd really like to have that planet in my sky map.

Not sure about this, but if you turn deveoper mode on (developer 1 in console or -dev in the shortcut, i go for the last one ), the console writes out the skynames of the map when the server starts up (along with what .wad's the particular map uses and what .dll's it load). I think. Mine does anyway, but i got a lot of junk in my shortcut

Hi (1st post on this forum so let's make it a helping out one ^^)

If you look in the gfx map (\SIERRA\Half-Life\ns\gfx\env or something)

You'll see the lost sky texture along with some other skies...

These are the lost skymaps:

lost_bk.tga
lost_dn.tga
lost_ft.tga
lost_lf.tga
lost_rt.tga
lost_up.tga

You'll have to type in your map properties:

lost_

Same goes for all skymaps, type everything in front of bk, dn, ft, lf, rt, and up.

happy mapping

u can always look in the gfx/env folder

its also good to wall batch conv all the tga to bmp, as some computers dont support tga as a default format, but u can preview bmp in 98/me, and use fax viewer in xp
