[mrel]phasegate

HaBaHaBa Join Date: 2003-08-17 Member: 19857Members
Well this is model i found on custom tfc.
It would be good for phasegate but it has one problem.
Skin is blue but ingame that turns out red.
Well if you dont mind it use it. <!--emo&???--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/confused.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='confused.gif'><!--endemo-->

    I have to agree, the model just looks too small for a phasegate. It would be an excellent IP replacement.

    Sorry for double posting, but I couldn't upload the picture by editing. Anyways, I added the TSA logo to the model and renamed it to b_infportal and it works great. Thanks to whoever made this model, makes a great infantry portal!

    It comes out red ingame because TFC uses the HL coloring system.

    Wanna know how to keep it blue, kids?
    decompile in milkshape, then open the reference, and rename the textures to anything you want, long as it isn't DM_base or the like. That way, HL won't interpret it as team colors (which is why it's showing up red), and it'll load whatever color it appears as. Enjoy.

    I'm C-TFC's team colorer. <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo-->

    How do you open up the reference? Is that the .qc file? If it is the .qc file, I don't see anything inside about texture names... <!--emo&:(--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/sad.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='sad.gif'><!--endemo-->

    EDIT: Nevermind... i found out it wasn't the .qc file. If I didn't make this post, i wouldn't have thought about opening the wrong file, o well <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->

    Get Milkshape, 30 days free. But if you're evil you can have it forever by finding a serial, I would have to kill you then...
