I think they said before christmas, and the've always kept their word. There is no actual date yet, but before Christmas is the said time. I'm happy to get the new version soon.

I got 2 great free mods comming. NS 3.0 and Unreal 2 XMP--Finnaly, Unreal 2 Multiplayer! Anyone play it? It's pretty fun and free if you have Unreal 2.

Aproximatly 2 weeks after Flayra fixes the lag bug.

I dont believe the Christmas holidays date. Think about it, it took them MONTHS to balance 2.0, can they tame this beast and a half (normal + combat mode) in 2-3 week? I doubt it.

I would rather Flayra takes the time to ensure its as bug free as possible than have the game come out on a certain date, best to let Flayra know we are patiant and will give him all the time he needs to get the game just rght.

Well as with everything in the gaming world, unforeseen events can occur at any time.
Although iirc 2.0 was released with later patching in mind.
My main reason for believing it will be released this holiday season is that the team wants to give the players a chance to go full out during the holiday season and thus allowing for a lot of imput from the community on possible bugs/exploits/unbalances.
So I think it will come out maybe Xmas week somewhere.
But I don't really mind waiting, I'd rather have a nice product than spend all the time playing NS3 with some form of unforeseen unbalance which will allow one team to pwn in general.

So I say holiday season, but I don't mind if it's later.
If it does work out with steam for me, I'm going constellation too :DDD

Personally i would like to see ns 3.0 come out before christmas because i got 7 weeks of holidays left with not much to do so i would like to see a slightly buggy game come out before christmas so at least i can be entertained in the christmas holidays.
