    I'll presume you got the 'Half-Life Steam' download? If you didn't then go get it.
    Now start up a single player game in HL and ride the tram for a few seconds, then quit. Go to your 'SteamApps' folder and the Half-Life folder should have appeared; Dump your ns folder in there.

    Also, you might want to have a look at the top of this forum for a thread entitled 'Explicit Instructions on How to Play NS in Steam' to fix some of the bugs that steam causes.

    The Half-Life folder didn't appear? It should have... Strange. Are you sure you didn't accidently play the WON version of HL instead of the Steam version? <!--emo&???--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/confused.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='confused.gif'><!--endemo-->

    That's the only thing I can think of... :/

    Oh wait, did you go in the folder that has your e-mail on it in SteamApps? The Half-Life folder should appear in there, not SteamApps itself.

    Just create the necessary folders, and steam should use them

    i meant, wherever you originally instlled steam. if you uninstalled it and reinstalled it elsewhere, you will have probs.
