<div class="IPBDescription">Possibly linked to 2.01</div> I recently downloaded and installed the 2.01 patch (so I could pratice commanding better) and I started to get graphical errors. A checkerboard-style distortion of blue rectangles covers the entire screen. White lines then appear wherever there is a segment of a wall. (I have a screenshot of the problem - if a anyone knows a site that would host them, I'll provide a link.) I then uninstalled NS, and reinstalled the 2.0 version. However, this did not fix the problem. Has anyone had this problem, and how did you solve it?

System Specs:
Fujitsu Lifebook N sieries
2.66 GHz pentium 4
ATI Mobility Radeon 9000
Microsoft windows XP home
512 MB RAM

    update your drivers

make sure you are playing in OGL video mode (well you could try DX)

    OGL? Check.
    Updated drivers? Check.

Thanks - that helped somewhat. The problem is now diminished, but still is there. Drat. Now it is more intermittent - flashing on or off. I'll try fiddling with the screen settings to see if it helps.

You wouldn't happen to have updated your firmware to be able to get newer functions, have you?
I got checkerboards when I tried that. Wrong board (BTW, Sapphire sucks)

The only thing I downloaded was 2.01 - so I could practice comming a bit better. I got the screen bugs, and the game crashed quite a lot. I removed 2.01, but not the blue checkerboard.

Christ, this just gets better and better. Apparently, this problem has spread to EVERTHING atatched to HL. Steam has errors with it, HL model viewer cannot display things properly.
