Sprite: No Such Frame (repeat At Light Speed)

Sometimes if I join a server but don't finish connecting, and then join another server, I get this message:
Sprite: no such frame 3
Sprite: no such frame 1
Sprite: no such frame 2
Sprite: no such frame 1
Sprite: no such frame 2
Sprite: no such frame 3
Sprite: no such frame 1
I'm able to join another game just fine and even play the game. The only difference is that this message repeats <b>constantly</b> in my console for the duration of the rest of my game. The number following "no such frame" seems to be always between 1 and 3 (inclusive). It does seem to affect my framerate a bit. The only other side-effect is that if I go to my console, I can't see any messages or resource node information because everything scrolls off-screen immediately due to this Sprite error message spam. I'm pretty sure that I get one message per frame rendered, because that would make sense speed-wise.
Anyone else had this? Any suggestions? Thanks!

Which team? (only aliens?)
Does it occur when you first join marines? (ie: when you are a 0/0 marine w/ no upgrades?)
It seems you've deleted a required sprite. More then likely this is either some marine tech sprites or the alien hivesite sprites.
A reinstall will fix this, as it will replace the missing sprite(s).
Do you have developer set to 1? That tends to generate a fair few error messages and garbage, set it to 0 if you don't need it to echo stuff like "+use toggle on" for toggle scripts or to echo r_speeds or something.
