just interesting to know i suppose, i play as the aliens, i like the idea if i see a marine, every alien can see him, and they have there own energy point thing going on.

which race do u mostly play, and why?

    I play aliens a little bit more the marines, but i like the marine team more.
    alien 60% of the time, marines 40% of the time.

    Reason, well simply because aliens are alot easier for me then marines, when i first played ns i played as aliens and found it easier then marines.

    Actually, I don't think that's possible anymore, it was in 1.04, now the only way would be to parasite them. I myself always choose random though.

    In any event, I think the marines are flat out boring to play.

    I play both of them. I think that it can take more skill as a marine than as an alien, for me anyways... Usually the games I play as marine are more intense because the game is more atmospheric for them (aliens could be in every corner ect) plus It is the more realistic side that most of us can come closer to relating to...

    75% as aliens, 25% as marines.

    a) When I have high pings, I gorge or lerk.
    b) When I know that there is a clan stack or that the game is decided anyway, it's a lot more fun to lame as alien. <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo-->
    c) I don't always want to do as requested, or command.
    d) Aliens have more diversity, and I just love sneaking around cloacked. <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo--> If marines had some kind of an stealth upgrade, I might play 50/50

    mostly I play as marine because it's so fun to walk around the map with my little gun in my tiny hand.     but now its quite nasty actually because the aliens are more powerful than in one earlier version..(i played ns like last winter or so, now i have played for only some days again)

    sometimes i play as alien, then im a skulk. i like climbing on walls and scareing the marines <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->

    I play about 50/50 each race, that way I don't get disapointed if I can't join my favorite team first time, since they're BOTH my favorite <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->

    I always random team, which means I am usually, about 70% of the time, kharaa. I prefer it this way though, aliens are a much more fun race for me.

    Always aliens. I get terrible mouse lag during the middle of a fight as a marine. I can command though.

    Since marine games on pubs are either terribly easy or terribly frustrating (due to nubs), I usually end up on the aliens.

    i used to play mainly as an alien, but now i play mainly as commander, and have won 3 of the last 4 games that i have commed, but i'm not taking all the credit, i must thank all of the marines out on freaks

    I like them both equally, but I tend to go marines if they are losing badly.     because:
    - aliens are the originality of this game
    - I can't play aliens all the time

    I find its generally more interesting when your playing aliens, less waiting around and building involved (unless your a dedicated gorge). Having said that, winning as a marine is usually more satisfying than winning as an alien. Not because its any more difficult, its just awesome when your taking down the last hive in a group.
