<div class="IPBDescription">first modeling attempt!</div> Hi, I am trying to design and model a sort of different-looking gun.

Here's a brief description I wrote to... uh, describe it.
Klammor Machine Pistol
The Klammor is the epitome of the philosophy Alyushin Munitions has been taking for generations - when you need bullets, you need a lot of them and you need 'em fast. In the Commission Weapon Trials, however, the Klamomor was rejected as the official sidearm for the Commission; it was too inaccurate even for them. Alyushin Munitions ended up sending the extra Klammors to various border outposts. It was often a common practice for SSC members to brandish Klammors at TSA officers, even though they didn't use them; they were a mean-looking weapon, for sure.
It's held side-to-side with two barrels on each end. They fire 5mm flechettes which don't do a lot of damage individually, but concentrated fire can put the most determined skulk down. Probably give it a healthy ammo capacity and compensate with low damage.
It is sort of like the Halo plasma rifle except it uses bullets.
I am already thinking the clip is too large. Perhaps a less wide clip, and bring the handle in a few centimeters, past the very end, to balance it out. Or have one clip on each side, loaded along the body of each.
Anyway, if you have any suggestions or comments please post them.
Thanks.

Anyhow, great design, and i like the backstory you made for it <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->
GJ.
How many polygons or triangles or whatnot should weapons be, sizewise?
And if I'm, say, way way over, how do I optimize?
and that's a good thing.
However, I have messed around with sounds for the weapon. It should be pretty easy to recognize what sound I changed, but I think it fits the bill okay.

The weapon will probably be like the assault rifle in Halo - weak, but puts lots of bullets in the air quickly.
its gona be like the dual pistol idea, its been tried and its not gona work out right
