    Just the question of why people bother posting in those threads anyway?

    Such as the racist one, there were like 9 other people who posted in there, flaming and insulting the guy. While, this may be appropriate and work in reality, it's not going to work on a forum. Typing words to someone, that they don't even have to read, respect or retain, isn't going to change their mind.

    Perhaps people just want to say, in some strange, convoluted manner, that they don't support the topic at hand...However, not replying would be much more purposeful, as it shows that you don't even acknowledge the stupidity of a thread.

    Just thought I'd throw that out there.
