And to people who learn japanese, eventually you come to really loathe the otakus and people who use it randomly to be cool. Why not at least find an actual japanese word so it means something, instead of random characters because it 'looks cool?'
and what's with the incredibly ignorant statements like 'it's not japanese, it's asian?' furthermore, jap is a racial slur. Finally, THERE IS NO ASIAN LANGUAGE, THERE ARE SEVERAL WITHIN ASIA. What kind of an idiot do you have to be to think that (practically) an entire hemisphere of countries that obviously are extremely different all have the SAME LANGUAGE?

It would make it look really lame, but to the japanese people it would look cool, and the same thing here. I find japanese characters very cool-looking too, but why not form actual words, and make it kind of an easter egg for thep eople who do know how? there are hundreds of dictionaries etc. that you can pop on in a second and find it, even I sometimes do this when making wallpapers, i find a word in a nother language, like korean. This way it's not gibberish.
Don't you think that it's kind of lame that companies like aeropostale use the mizu (water) kanji (symbol) on one of their shirt lines and nobody knows what it means?
Also, the ignorance is amazing. I can't believe people think there is one definitive "asian" language.
I don't hate anyone, nor am I extremely mad. I'm just shocked at what people can say and think sometimes. I also think the random use of japanese is a downside.

I was not talking about soviets having somehing to do with japanese and such, i was reffering to that guy who called it ASIAN language. SO what is the largest thing in Asia? Is it Japan? Oh well, dont make me laugh. Its Russia, but saying that would not be enough, so i said soviet union, because it was bigger, no matter on which side.

The only thing you can infer is that the soviet union made some big esperanto-like language.
Furthermore, I did not mean empire in the literal sense, more the sense of "we had a gigantic mass of land and power at a time."
I never said anything about Japan either. Don't know why you brought that up.
And <i>finally</i>. The Soviet Union may have had a long cold war with us, but they NEVER tried to take us over. It just wasn't feasible.
So let me ask a question and hope you answer it: 1) what did you mean by that other post? 2) the point is moot since the soviet union no longer exists.
