On a side note...

I call gorges: Gorge/s, gorgie/s, kitties, kats, fattah, cute, happy gorge, sad gorgie, pet, yummy, soft and fuzzy, ninja gorge, and the only person building stuff besides me.

I swear by onos. Oni implies demon in jap, and neither 'demon' or japanese things are related to NS in any way.

-os isn't a singular ending in Latin though. It's a second declension accusative plural ending, so having any kind of Latin-style plural for Onos doesn't make much sense.

Seeing as how Onos is derived from "oh no" in English, wouldn't it make more sense for Ono to be singular, and Onos to be the plural? Either that or just make the plural Onoses.

As much as I hate to support one of Jez' statements, Flayra uses the term 'Oni'. It's thus what I consider the 'official' form.

You right!
Root -> On-
Singular:

On-us
On-i
On-o
On-um
On-o

Plural:

On-i
On-orum
On-is
On-os
On-is

If we used latin, it would have to be "Onus" for 1 of them and "Oni" for multiples...depending on word use...

And as for Oni having nothing to do with NS.

ONI

I believe the correct term to be Onos. Just like you would say, "Hey look at that deer," and "Hey look at those deer." You would do the same by saying, "Holy **** an onos," and "Holy **** look at all those onos!" But what are a pack of onos called? A pack of skulks are bobs so shall we call a pack of onos bills?

It's onos, and onos in plural or onoses if we're talking english. Free us from pseudo-greek! In any case, if Flayra decides they are called "oni" I guess thats his creative liberty

Sure you've got it in the right order there? The standard is N/V/Acc/G/D/Abl

Thus:

Onus
One (This sounds ridiculous but trust me)
Onum
Oni
Ono
Ono

Well, the people saying it's Oni are going with the schoolyard reasoning of "because Flayra said so! neener!", while a lot of people have given good reasons for it to not be "Oni".

And just why would multiple Onos use "Oni" when Oni in Japanese, I believe, is singular? It makes no sense.
