Multiple computers! yay!
Ok, so I used to have a Dell Pentium 2 (You can call it Al), which I recently replaced with a Pentium 3 (I can call it Betty). My *parents* have a 3-year-old eMachine which isn't cool enough to be named from a Paul Simon song. I convinced my parents to upgrade from their eMachine to Al, which they agreed to - however, it means I've got to move all their personal files from the eMachine *to* Al. Since neither computer has mass-storage hardware (CD-R drive or Zip drive), the easiest way to do that was to hook both up to my router and make my own mini-LAN. Of course, the modem is currently where Betty lives.

Where does that put me? The setup you see below. I tell you, it's *damn* fun, especially when I start switching the 2nd 17" monitor between Betty and Al on the fly. (: It makes me very sad to know that only Betty will be returning to school with me on Saturday, though. ):

Good thing you have that combo lock on the folding chair. Someone might have been overwhelmed with envy and tried to steal it.

Re: combo lock - it's been there a *long* time. Don't know the combo.

    Re: oreos - did I mention they're double-stuffed?

Re: chair - yeah, my nice rolly one is in storage at school.

Re: school - school = college. I move back on Saturday, and bring my computer (Betty) with me. Al and the eMachine stay here.

Awsome! Say Coil... Feel free to send any old parts from any of your computers.

Compared to what my CURRENT computer has, any old stuff you send me would be up to date. -_-

Is it with a router? You should be a ble to configure the HLDS port to be routed the your server computer, it's in the web-based setup app.
