here is the entire email, advert and poem togeather.
advert is red, secret message is yellow (for clarity)

I just went to my spam email address and had a look at the first one. Yellow was hidden. Red was visible

Recently, some spam-control software solutions have been set up to look for "patterns" or keywords in the text of incoming e-mails. That's one surefire way to throw it off.

Yea, Spam filter look for certain thing in your e-mails, ie short phrases with certain words in them. Adding this stuff to the background makes the spam filter think its just an ordinary message. You can't see it without highlighting but the spam filter can.

Could the anti spam companies just do a flag on all messages with the txt color the same as the backround color?

Seems like a bigger flag characteristic than anything else.

That wouldn't be easy, because some people out there don't use the default white.
