<div class="IPBDescription">Make it stop...</div> Basically, the problem is my signature. You can see it at the end of my post for reference. I entered it as:
<!--c1--></span><table border='0' align='center' width='95%' cellpadding='3' cellspacing='1'><tr><td><b>CODE</b> </td></tr><tr><td id='CODE'><!--ec1-->"argh ppl"
lolfighter for comm
thanks to Jummeh for avatar hosting<!--c2--></td></tr></table><span class='postcolor'><!--ec2-->

This is where things start getting funky however. As soon as I click "Update my Signature", it's changed to the following:
<!--c1--></span><table border='0' align='center' width='95%' cellpadding='3' cellspacing='1'><tr><td><b>CODE</b> </td></tr><tr><td id='CODE'><!--ec1-->"argh ppl"
lolfighter for comm
thanks to Jummeh for avatar hosting<!--c2--></td></tr></table><span class='postcolor'><!--ec2-->

In case you haven't noticed, <!--c1--></span><table border='0' align='center' width='95%' cellpadding='3' cellspacing='1'><tr><td><b>CODE</b> </td></tr><tr><td id='CODE'><!--ec1--><!--c2--></td></tr></table><span class='postcolor'><!--ec2--> and <!--c1--></span><table border='0' align='center' width='95%' cellpadding='3' cellspacing='1'><tr><td><b>CODE</b> </td></tr><tr><td id='CODE'><!--ec1--><!--c2--></td></tr></table><span class='postcolor'><!--ec2--> have been switched around, yet the sig still appears to look right. Even stranger, if I enter the altered code here, it STILL looks right, even though it shouldn't:

<span style='font-size:7pt;line-height:100%'>"argh ppl"
<a href='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/index.php?act=ST&f=10&t=48132&hl=vote+lolfighter' target='_blank'><span style='color:green'>lolfighter</span> for comm</a>
thanks to Jummeh for avatar hosting</span>

Any explanations why the code is behaving so weirdly? Or indeed, do you see my sig the way it should look? Everything should be in smaller letter than usual <span style='font-size:7pt;line-height:100%'>(this size)</span>, and the word lolfighter should be in <span style='color:green'>green</span>.

    The thing is, I want to know how it can work in this way. This is completely unlike anything I thought I knew about computers.
