Banned!

Recently I was playing in the server "Ns Texas Custom maps" And its one of my favorite servers. I was playing as Khraa on the map Ns_Finaldoor2 and I was shooting acid rockets down a hallway to cover my teammates, I was a cloaked and I had adrenaline so I could shoot longer and hopefully not be found. Then all of a sudden I was banned! <!--emo&--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/mad.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='mad.gif'><!--endemo--> and I dont know why! Could someone go into the server or get the admin of that server "If hes looking" to unban the player Zack?
Any help would be nice.

    Here's a suggestion:

Don't whine about servers in here. Odds are, the server op doesn't even read these forums, and if they do, they don't care about your complaint.

Most servers have a "ban disputes" email address. Ask some friend to connect to the server; it'll be in the MOTD. Then email them and ask <b>nicely</b> why you were banned. If you freak out and go "WTH d00d why am I banned I did nothing" they will probably ignore you.

well, I dont intend to freak out, and the only friend of mine that uses mods dosent play NS atall, though I could get him to log on. I, just asking if someone from the forums could maybe log on and ask, or/and get the forums I could ask the question on.

Welcome to the NS fourms Fluffy. We have a rule about disscussing banns:

<!--QuoteBegin--></span><table border='0' align='center' width='95%' cellpadding='3' cellspacing='1'><tr><td><b>QUOTE</b> </td></tr><tr><td id='QUOTE'><!--QuoteEBegin-->It seems it is impossible to have discussions on 'servers' without it degenerating into fueds and petty squabbles.

Server operators do a huge service to this community and as such, even if they run the servers in a way that I personally or any of you, do not agree with, are entitled to some respect for the effort, materials and even money they put into it.

It is *very* hard to build up a reputation for a server. It takes a lot of work and dedication. Conversely, it's very easy for some mal-content to destroy that same reputation with a word or scentence.

The simple fact of the matter is that no server will suit 100% of people. If you don't like a server, then go play elsewhere. We're not interested in hearing (here) why you don't like it.

So, we're putting a moratorium on discussions of servers.
    - 'Bad' server threads because there are no 'Bad' servers, there are only servers that some people don't like.
    - 'Good' server threads because they inevitably descend into "Bad Server" threads.<!--QuoteEnd--></td></tr></table><span class='postcolor'><!--QuoteEEnd-->

Your best bet is to take it up with the server admin, find their IRC channel, or maybe they have a website. As stated most server admins dont come here
