<div class="IPBDescription">Photoshop simply rules sometimes...</div> I was working on resizing a screenshot of the hive I just threw together, playing around with different ways of fake-hilighting it like env_gamma does, when I stumbled across this effect. It was so epic, I just HAD to post it for you guys...     u heard of the "Post your screen shots thread"

    its the sticky with lots of posts of screen's, please use that next time you want to make a random screen shot.

    Other then that, what tech is that called?

    Using Photoshop:
    - If you are going to shrink your image for the forums, do so now, before you make any changes to it.
    - Copy and paste your image over itself as a second layer.
    - Go to Image> Adjust> Auto-Contrast to make the new layer brighter and sharper.
    - Do a Gaussian Blur of about 5.0 pixels or so on the new layer.
    -Set the layer's blending mode to Screen and the "Fill" to 50%.

    This works best on dark screenshots with a few bright highlights.
