The Sims was awesome! If you're a psychopath like me.

Okay, here's the story on Population Control.

Well, in The Sims, every time you invite guests over, the rampage through your house. They'll wander off and use the toilet in your master bathroom because it's got a seat warmer or something.

Anyway, to stop that, I invited everyone over to a party (Like 20 people) and trapped them all in the party room. It had access to a bathroom, complete kitchen, everything. Except, everyone was in one room. So my guests were contained and I was throwing a great party.

Well, my guests were whining about being hungry so I went and began to make them dinner.

When my Sim decided to set the stove on fire.

The place went up in flames like a Boston Nightclub running illegal pyrotechnics. The fireman kept running around outside trying to find a way in. Yeah... the grim reaper was busy, needless to say.

The 'ol neighborhood was lookin' a little run down after that.

The sims was a very realistic game. Taking an hour to go potty then another two to get from the bathroom and go to work only to be late was FUN.

Those are replaced by squirt guns used for wet t-shirt contests.

Back on topic, I thought space colony was ok, but it was missing something, something like walls and the ability to rotate the camera .

yes indeed back on topic. yeah i was thinking the same thing. hopefully the official release will allow you to rotate the camera. i know you will be able to zoom in on your fellow space-pets, i mean colonists.

I have the game. and no, no walls. However it's entertaining and challenging. IF you like simish games paired with a bit of "base building", its quite good. And it has good humor. Ah, who cannot love Stig?

I'm dloading now and what do you mean by "no walls"? Is it a bug or do you just mean the walls are sort of permanently see-thru?

    Perma see through.

I'm having trouble placing the warehouse down in the second level. I ran out of space to store silicon. Anyone wanna tell me how it's done?

yeah the first and 2nd level they dont give you room for an extra warehouse. what i did was sold about 90% of my nutrients by clicking on the warehouse and that allowed more room for silicon <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->
now about the walls. how would you see and control your colonists if the walls were in full vision? theres no real point to having full walls because your colonists are inside 95% of the time
