<div class="IPBDescription">everytime</div> after i join a team, i get disconnected from the game. the little window that usual gives the reason doesn't come up, it just disconnects and goes back to the main ns menu.
i have the userconfig with the line to fix the graphics stuff (being disconnected and the many console messages), and that works. and i get disconnected right when i spawn...i can watch other people play while waiting to spawn, but when i spawn i get disconnected. i reinstalled steam and ns, and reinstalled my video drivers (while i was doing this i changed back a version of the nvidia drivers because the newest caused crash problems on startup anyway).
i have:
pentium 2 400
384 mb ram
geforce 2 mx400 agp
windows me with all current updates
dialup internet connection
soundblaster live xgamer
version 44.03 detonator (again, the most recent causes bluescreens and system crashes)
any help would be greatly appreciated.

so you join a game, and can sit in RR or spec (try and actualy spec a match and see what happens). But as soon as yuo should spawn you end up back at the Main scrn...

and yeah i can sit in the rr and spec for as long as i want, but as soon as i want to actually play, it disconnects. also wtih the other drivers i had, the opengl acted really weird...when i spawned, it looked like it does when you go outside the bounds of a map and the empty space is filled with flashing repeats of what you've seen (kinda hard to explain....). anyway, i dunno if that could have anything to do with it.

now that I know you use steam I am wondering if it is related to the 'crash after each round' steam bug
I apologize but I don't know enugh about steam to help.
It is an SVC_BAD error (check when you get kicked off, in the console)
When this happens, exit the game, and exit STEAM. Restart Steam, not the machine. Try again, it should work, if not, grab a beer, drink it, scream some curses and try again.
