Crashes To Desktop

<div class="IPBDescription">Possible bug ...</div> NS 2.0 ------ RUNNING IN STEAM !!! (AAARRGHH !!!)

Everytime a game is won on any server in NS and I go back to the waiting room the game crashes and sends me to my desktop. This happens during every game and is really starting to pee me off.

I don't understand why it is doing this and I have reas pratically all other threads and posts that are to do with crashes but none of them work.

Plz help me or I will stop playing NS for ever ... AAARGHHH !!!

PS - Here are some specs on my PC that may help :

(CPU) Intel® Pentium® 4 1.70GHz
(RAM) 512MB
(GFX) NVIDIA GeForce4 MX 440
(Display) 1024x768/16bit/85Hz
(OS) Windows XP Home Edition, Service Pack 1 (5.1 - 2600
(HDDs) 33.3GB/74.4GB

    I have done that ... and followed all instructions etc. But it still does it ... am i missing anything ... have u got any links ....

    The easiest way to solve this problem is just to delete everything that has to do with "Steam NS" and reinstalling the Beta NS 2.0 into the steam folder. That should work.

    Well this is just great ...

    Its still crashing to desktop at start of every new game.

    There must be some way around this ... PLZ HELP !

    I had these issues even after I installed the NS steam beta, I had to get a new hud and fix the 128 sprite issue.

    Try this link, it's the 128 hud error thread that's currently on the tech support page.

    Edit: this link appears the same as the above one but it works for some reason.
