<div class="IPBDescription">Anyone like these?</div> I made some NS wallpapers based off of the hives/marinestart/readyroom of ns_bast, my favorite map. I plan on making more wallpapers for other maps and perhaps the more memorable areas of each map.

I like the way they look. I made them by taking screenshots in spectator mode with the Sketch option turned on in the Catalyst drivers for my Radeon 9500Pro. Does anyone else share my liking for the style?

    That looks pretty sweet especially if it looked like that ingame. Iv got a Radeon 9600 PRO, do i have the ability to turn on that option too?

    I like Marine Start and Refinery best.

    Right click your desktop, click on properties. Go to the settings tab. Click on the 3D tab. Choose OpenGL or Direct3d, depending on which one you use. Check off "Use custom settings" and click "Custom..." Go to the SMARTSHADER tab, and choose your filter. The one I'm using is "Sketch".

    Catalyst 3.8 is the version I'm using. There are some other cool lookin filters, too.

    can you flip the colors? Its not very sketchlike with white on black.

    edit: I know how to do it in paint, Im talking about when you use that ingame.

    looks like someone found the tab with smooth shader effect. here's a tip: go to driverheaven.net and download the new omega drivers for ati; there are more shader effects in it. be warned tho, there are a couple of bugs with the newest leaked version, but you can find workarounds for them in the forums

    Heres something I did with one of the papers...
    The full size is even neater, it captures more of the texturing on the surfaces.

    Wow, that looks nice.

    As for Nvidia cards, I have no idea. I've never actually used an Nvidia card in my main box before.

    Awesome! That's how I would imagine the Kharaa would view the world, since their eyes probably aren't as developed as human eyes.

    Perhaps I'll get a friend to make a server and we can take shots of certain things.

    I wanted to have one show an onos or fade killing a marine and walking off, and have a caption like "Fade's Wake".

    btw, Sorry for being dead, I'll try to get more wallpapers up soon.
