    I really shouldn't answer this question, it <i>is</i> discussed in previous threads, but oh well. The official site says near March 2002. I'm pretty sure this has been updated recently too, so... should be accurate. The only thing for sure is that it is in the testing phase right now.

    Actually, when a person creates an account, they're sent an email, and part of the email says something along the lines of "Be sure to read the FAQs, including the ones within each forum" or somesuch.

    Great minds and all that.

    There is an NSTR for mapmakers... it's not a Beta, but it's the closest thing to it that's out right now. I'm pretty sure that if some of the mapmakers made tons of constructive posts they'd prolly get invited, but not because they're mappers.

Once you get done just post and read things that are going on, every day the MOD isn't released is a day closer to the release date. w00t w00t
