Alleg looks good, like those Unity ship thingies, and I miss XwingVsTIEFighter, so this might just fill the gap.

In the space/fighter/sim department Freespace 2's immersive training blows this game away, more story and more believable training

And I guess I'd be in, though I'm going to have to suffer through the training missions again. And no, cluttering up the boards is bad, mmkay? Might be best to just open a channel on GamesNET temporarily for logistics. Just finished training and my first game.. or half a game. I joined late. Killed some stuff though. Like.. 3 or 4 things... Wasn't quite sure what was going on. Seemed fun enough...

I cant connect to the lobby... Im using a software firewall which I set to allow alliegance to acess the internet. I have a linksys wireless router too. Anyone know how I can fix this?

Good luck my friend. If you want help - go to the alleg.net forums, click helpline. Then click on the FAQ - about halfway through the page it will talk about connecting to lobby problems. It will also give you a few links - click then and if ur luckier than me u'll be playin in no time.

1.) Don't change the Username that pops up when you want to connect to the lobby.

2.) Make sure you have the right ports open

3.) Make sure you are signed in with SOL and AGUS

Got on, got expected to be everywhere at once, got disheartened when everyone else joined the other team, resulting in a 4-6 loss. Though I believe I blew Anem out of the sky a few times, buzzing around in his Scout. <img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'> (Hint: Don't take on a Heavy Interceptor in a Scout ship. When they notice they're taking damage they'll turn away from the Miner they're blasting and rip you into little pieces)

I downloaded ASGS and tried to check if my old account was still alive... but trying to login or register anything just gives me the error "WMI Query failed with exceptions: x01 ;x02" and it seems as if sovlogin doesn't work without logging into ASGS first anymore... anyone else have this problem?
