Drive-by Bile Bombers

<div class="IPBDescription">no marine outpost is safe!</div> <b><i>Ingredients: 2 Hives, Redemption ability (Defense Chambers)</i></b>
I've been kinda frustrated lately at being an onos going against level 3 weapons and decided to try something new. Basically as soon as our team gets two hives and defense chambers I gestate to a redemption gorge and hit the nearest outpost with bile bombs. I find that I can do so much damage with bile bombs that they cannot heal the outpost fast enough unless they have at least 3 people welding non-stop.
<b>What's even better:</b>
If the other chamber is movement I use celerity. Ya some might say adrenaline is the obvious choice but I find that the marines have a hard time hitting me with that extra speed and I actually get more hits in with celerity.
<b>What's even way better:</b>
If we got onos on our team I follow em, because sooner or later the onos is gonna hit an outpost and when it does I use that big fleshy mound of deadly moving rumpsteak to absorb the gunfire while I lob bile bombs from the back.
<b>What's even totally way better:</b>
If I got other gorges with me doing the same thing we can destroy any outpost in seconds. I grouped up with 3 other gorges for a total of (do the math) FOUR bile bombers and we were able to destroy a massive turret farm in seconds!
<b>What's the ultimate bestest:</b>
Combine 4 redemption bile bombers with a front line of 2 or more redemption onos and no marine outpost will last but for a few minutes. We DECIMATED a heavily turret farmed outpost guarded by 5 heavies all with level 3 weapons in about 3 runs. We had onos and gorges jumping all over the place and they didn't know what to shoot at with onos goring and bile bombs dropping all over. Too many targets and too much damage for the reenies.
<b>What's icing on the cake:</b>
2 would be nice but just <b>1</b> lerk with umbra can make the difference between an outpost taking 3 redemption runs or just one.
I used to think I needed to hit outposts continually with onos but now I realize how powerful bilebomb is. And its a cheap sell. At 10 res to gorge and 2 for redemption it's probably the most cost efficient class in terms of guaranteed damage. Combined with other Kharaa strengths it proves to be the most efficient weapon against human tech. It's a sleeper hit but hopefully not for long! <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->

When you tell people that Bile Bomb is the alien answer to seige cannons, they tend to laugh at you.

Redemption gorges are really good for hunting marines <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo--> It get's them peeved in no time...
Silent gorges are also just as scary... Following marines around healspraying them while they don't notice is pretty freaky... Makes me wanna try cloaked silent gorges!
