the only game i play is NS... no Quake, no UT, noch JK, no GTA... only NS... i palyed all the other games that i got for some weeks but than i stopped... NS is somethign special becouse its the first game that i can play for so long and i cant see any reason why i should give up playing it... it gets better and better...

is NS a virus??

Ripped from a post i did a couple of mins ago.

C'mon 4 days straight of NS with 6 hrs sleep just aint healthy no other game has induced this effect on me before. I'll die with a mouse in my hand playing NS 1 day i reckon. Oh yeh i was at a mates place using his connection when i achieved this marathon. My net connection at home is terrible so i sorta had to get maximum efficiency of my time with ns at his place. U prolly think im some sick nerd but would u believe i actually attend uni and have a GF?? Me neither Actually come to think of it I nearly missed my Yr 12 exams last year due to NS. MY GOD WHAT HAVE U DONE TO ME FLAYRA!?!

I have played and finished alot of games but no other multiplayer game really keeps me coming back as much, BF holds my attention but nowhere near the amount NS does. A couple of days ago i got Bloodrayne and Halo finished both single player, played halo multi for a day but nope straight back to NS. Although Generals zero hour has got me intrigued with its new complexity but its not FPS/RTS so i dont think NS will be threatened in my life.

Been playing mostly NS for 7 months. Unlike Roger Dodger , I missed my uni exams due to NS and couldn't bother finding a girlfriend , since I am a sick nerd

There's a few great mods (I only play UT and HL mods , no other games) that took most of my spare time previously , that I still play : Science&Industry (gotta be the 2nd smartest HL mod) , UT Jailbreak , and Thievery UT. But NS-related activities now occupy about 2/3 of my connection time.

NS is not a game , it's a way of life. People naturally select this game as their only activity... and don't even try to escape the addiction , succeeding at this would bring you into a world of sorrow and bitterness , that no crack/heroin addict could ever imagine : you would feel lifeless until you hear "let's move out" , as the only meaning of life you know is "cleanse the intruders"...

I've only ever played one game which is more addictive - Neocron. We don't call it NeoCrack for nothing.

Only NS and DoD can drag me away from NC. I'd play NS a bit more if it weren't for my 56k connection issues (isn't that the technical term for a lack of skill? )

Flayra is a drug dealer. This is his secret plan.

NS is downloaded by thousands of people. Ever notice how he always says, he wants it to be available to all ages (meaning no gorish things...)? Exunctly. Vets and PTs are all addicted. They were test subjects (street thugs). They root out the bugs (a.k.a. stuff that will de-addict you), and test the game extensively. Everyone is jealous of PTers and Vets, which causes to more hate when they get it (OMG, you got it first!).

What about the NDA?, you ask. If he wanted to get people addicted, he could just tell everyone all about 2.0 and get more people addicted and let PTs spread the awesomeness, wouldn't he?
No. Some very smart PTs figured it out, and baleeted NS. They attempted to tell the truth, but their minds held them back. However, if they were allowed the chance to speak about it (see, people would be jumping all over them for secrets. But there aren't any because of NDA), they would burst. Those PTs have been assassinated. Mourn for them...

Merchandise! Everyone looks at a T-Shirt with an Onos on it and goes, "Damn! That's an awesome-looking game, I gotta try it!" and goes to the site.

Flayra is sick-minded, and will stop at nothing to achieve world domination. Now that you know... he must be stopped.
Oh, and Constellation money went to his beer

[edit] Yeah, NS is great. [/edit]

A damn fine game, truly. I got my friend addicted to it, even convinced his software pirating (read: dispicable) arse to buy a copy of half life...apparantly he's interested in constellation too. NS: Saving the souls of evil software stealers, one at a time.

Do you know if there is a place to treat this disease, my friends are getting angry with me. I stopped eating with them at the dining centers at school so that I can stay in my room and play NS, so I've been living off of goldfish, crackers, and water (my pineapple and peaches ran out). I can't seem to pull myself away from my computer. If I make myself not play NS, then I'll just sit on irc pineing over how much I want to play but shouldn't, just to realize that I spent all day talking about how I can't play NS because I am too busy, just to have gotten nothing done anyway. (Take today for example) I even put NS in my school planner. Panda training sessions on Sundays, UGL matches Thursdays, CAL matches Saturdays, and all planed scrims and pratices through out the week on their planned days as well. That doesn't even include the countless hours I spend in forums helping my team with strats, or the other 3-4 forums I post in. Then on top of all that I pub quite often, am an admin on a server and deal with adminy stuff online and off, and scrim all the time. It's so sad. This really is a disease, I am so addicted. I don't watch TV, I don't play any other games, video, card, nintendo, computer, board or otherwise (all of which I played extensively). I didn't rejoin any of my clubs this year for school, I don't sleep often, and I don't go out almost at all anymore.

At least reading posts like this, makes me feel like I am not alone.

Oh yeah but I love this game, it rocks, and I look forward to playing it for a good long while more.

I'm the same, I think it's a pretty serious problem which I need to get sorted, there's a lot going on outside that we're all missing, and we're going to regret it when we're all 40, unmarried and NS is gone anyway.

    Hmm, food for thought.

I used to have 3-5 games installed all the time, uninstalling one and replacing it with another...

I have one game on my system now.. NS.. that's it...

I just got 'Enter the Matrix' for my birthday, and I'm not sure I'll even install it...

    I <3 NS too much....
